http://abcnews.go.com

Robert Peterson, then 21, was trying to bring his video camera into the courtroom where he was contesting a minor traffic ticket. When the bailiff told him he couldn't bring his camera inside, Peterson told him to step aside and let him through. When the argument escalated, the bailiff used a stun gun on him. Peterson kept the camera rolling and later posted the incident on YouTube.

European Union to criminalize cash transactions over 500 EUROs

http://theintelhub.com

European Union to criminalize cash transactions over 500 EUROs. Banking is the primary tool they use to control us. Free people transacting outside of their control is their biggest fear. As the original Rothschild said in 1838: "Let me issue and control a Nation's money and I care not who makes its laws".

Santa Ana Police Freak Out As Activist Films Them at Patrol Stop

http://blogs.ocweekly.com

The activist happened upon a young woman who had been pulled over and began filming as a student sat on the curb. Officer Aquino asked that Juárez step back as he was conducting an investigation but the activist countered that he, at thirteen feet back, was at a reasonable distance and was not interfering with the policeman's work. As the video goes on to show, other officers, five in total, arrived on scene. One asked for his identification.

Man recording cops arrested... for violating HIPAA regs

http://www.twincities.com

A Minnesota man was arrested while recording police as they called paramedics to assist a stranger covered in blood... because the officer said it was a violation of HIPAA regulations. Cops also stole his camera... but the audio was recorded remotely via cellpone! It isn't a violation. So they charged him with "disorderly conduct" and "obstruction of legal process," whatever that is. He vows to not take a plea and will take the case to trial! Never take a plea!!!

Pot Dispensaries YES!, FED Confiscation YES!

http://www.sfgate.com

Judge: Landlords must allow pot dispensaries, and FEDs can then confiscate property. Is this a backdoor way to get eminent domain? Is this "legal"? County courts offer various results, City of Oakland to go against FEDs saying to close it "would create a public safety problem by encouraging a black market for marijuana." Confusion abounds.

Strippers would wear license with their real name and number

http://www.star-telegram.com

Rep. Bill Zedler has filed a bill to require employees at sexually oriented businesses to get a license and display it while working. The conservative lawmaker said he hopes the measure, if it passes, might encourage women to find another line of work. "They won't want to get a license as a stripper from the state of Texas," Zedler said of his legislation. "I think it would keep a lot of girls from getting involved in that lifestyle and basically wrecking their lives. "This will force everyone to clean up their act," he said. "Overall, it will be a benefit to everyone concerned."

Something fishy about Alex Jones Piers Morgan clash

http://t.co

This is familiar behavior from Jones. It’s why we love him. He’s a like a bulldog. But Morgan’s behavior was suspiciously out of character.

Piers Morgan is loudmouthed blow hard who can hold his own against someone raising their voice. I’ve seen him interview Jesse Ventura, and Ted Nugent about gun control and he meets their volume. Those guys aren’t much softer than Jones. In fact, when Morgan debated Larry Pratt on gun control, he shouts Pratt down.

But against Jones he’s utterly calm. He doesn’t interrupt. He doesn’t raise his voice. Why the change? Well I have a theory.

Hemp Once Grew Where Pentagon Now Stands

http://www.utne.com

Where generals now meet in war rooms, hemp plants once waved in the breeze. The Washington Post reports on the recently discovered “hemp diaries” of a government botanist, Lyster H. Dewey, who tended a USDA hemp farm that was eventually turned over to the War Department for the construction of the Pentagon.

$10 million in Silver Bars strewn across the Interstate

http://silverunderground.com

An armored trucked crashed along Interstate 81 and spilled out its cargo of $10 million in silver bars. I thought those armored bank trucks were made of sterner stuff, but carrying that much weight, I guess it’s more likely the silver broke out than the crash broke in. I bet a truck carrying $10 million in paper would have been just fine. It’s a pretty good metaphor. If you think of the controlled economy as an armored truck, when this thing crashes paper money crashes with it, but silver breaks free. It has economic momentum.

Wrong man forced into mental hospital, heavily drugged

http://www.news.com.au

The series of events started after a patient at the hospital left without permission in mid December. Police were called to help locate the patient and several days later, a man with the same description of the escapee was brought back to Graylands by police where he was wrongly identified by hospital staff as the runaway patient. The man was subsequently given a batch of antipsychotic drugs but it caused an adverse reaction and he was treated overnight in hospital. The “real” missing patient eventually returned to Graylands.

Twitter ‘insult’ leads to prison for Kuwaiti activist

http://www.thestar.com

A Kuwaiti court sentenced a man to two years in prison for insulting the country’s ruler on Twitter, a lawyer following the case said, as the Gulf Arab state cracks down on criticism of the authorities on social media. According to the verdict on Sunday — published by online newspaper Alaan — a tweet written by Rashid Saleh al-Anzi in October “stabbed the rights and powers of the Emir” Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. Anzi, who has 5,700 Twitter followers, was expected to appeal the verdict, said the lawyer, who asked not to be named.
