Bitcoin buyers throw good money after bad

http://www.marketwatch.com

The issue is whether Bitcoin will ever be so widely adopted that it acts like a real, stable currency. Right now, it’s more like a commodity with wild price swings on rumors, articles, anonymous chat-board postings, and well-publicized problems with theft. Most people should wait at least until those issues are resolved. Generally, however, average folks shouldn’t be making direct forays into currency trading; Bitcoin feels a bit like online investing, but it’s more like diving into foreign exchange with even less information on which to make currency calls.

http://www.mercurynews.com

The underground market seeks to encourage food entrepreneurship by helping young vendors avoid roughly $1,000 a year in fees -- including those for health permits and liability insurance -- required by legitimate farmers markets. The author suggests not panicking, not worrying ... and looking to agorism.

Time Magazine - great article on agorism and kids dropping out of HS

http://www.time.com

I'm astounded that this article appeared in Time (or at least on their website). They rationally propose the fact that college might not be for everyone, as well as talk about the underground economy:

"Faced with the burden of financing the decades-long retirement of aging boomers, many of the young embrace a new underground economy, a largely untaxed archipelago of communes, co-ops, and kibbutzim that passively resist the power of the granny state while building their own little utopias."
