The parents of two young boys who have dedicated their lives to legalizing medical marijuana are struggling this week to cope with the heartbreaking reality that police have taken away their sons and placed them in foster care.

Accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was charged with using a WMD after he and his brother allegedly detonated a bomb made from a pressure cooker. How is this possible? Sean Kennedy, director of research for the nonpartisan Citizens Against Government Waste, said Congress should listen when one of the military services says no to more quipment.
"When an institution as risk averse as the Defense Department says they have enough tanks, we can probably believe them," Kennedy said.

The world's first clinical trial designed to explore using a hallucinogen from magic mushrooms to treat people with depression has stalled because of British and European rules on the use of illegal drugs in research.
David Nutt, president of the British Neuroscience Association and professor of neuropsychopharmacology at Imperial College London, said he had been granted an ethical green light and funding for the trial, but regulations were blocking it.
"We live in a world of insanity in terms of regulating drugs," he told a neuroscience conference in London on Sunday.
