http://moms.today.com

A little boy’s Los Angeles school sent him to the psychiatric ward against his mom’s wishes. Anxiety over his dad’s deployment to Iraq led the boy to “[draw] a violent picture and [write] that he wanted to die,” which prompted the school’s reaction. When the mother told officials she would have the boy see a therapist that day, she was told it was already out of her hands – the ambulance was on its way. 15yo prevented from delivering paper at 6:45am, it's illegal

http://www.dailymail.co.uk

Come rain or shine, hard-working teenager Sam Green-Jeffries diligently dragged himself out of bed to start his paper round at 6.45 every morning.

So it was a shock when he found that his two years’ devotion to duty meant he was breaking a bizarre law banning children from working before 7am.

Now the 15-year-old – whose dedication has won him a national award – may be forced to quit because starting later is making him late for school.

Incredibly, bureaucrats stepped in after they were tipped off by an anonymous busybody.

Malawi's Controversial Ban on Public Farting

http://www.theregister.co.uk

The law will be enforced in a similar way to that banning public urination, with local chiefs tasked with bringing noxious gasbags to justice. 'Speech or debate' clause invoked in investigations of House members

Are you tired of politicians not being subject to the same rules as we are? The executive branch can't use wiretapping on congressman, despite the fact that they can use the patriot act on the rest of us.
