More than 75 people visited Chicago Police headquarters Monday to pick up applications to register firearms on the day the city's new handgun ordinance took effect. The ordinance, which requires gun owners to keep their weapons in their homes, was hastily crafted by the city after the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the city's 28-year-old handgun ban....

There's at least ONE place in New Hampshire that believes in a strict interpretation of constitutional rights. If you're a town employee in Nottingham, you can now bring your gun to work. Nottingham town selectmen voted on the new policy last week....town leaders said it's a matter of constitutional rights.

Early yesterday morning, an 80-year-old Korean War veteran in Chicago faced an armed home invader, whose first reaction upon seeing the homeowner was to fire two shots at him. Fortunately, both missed. Also fortunately, his was not the only gun on the scene.
