Cop maces squirrel. Oh my god, he was headed right for him. He did it for the children!!!

The unidentified sergeant collided with a school bus (no children aboard) in Houston.

An HPD spokesman said the bus driver ran a stop sign and caused the accident. But other witnesses said the officer was the one who ran a stop sign.
The bus driver said she thinks he'd been drinking.

"He smelled drunk and he had beer and wine opened in his car," Teresa Argueta said.

Other witnesses said officers at the scene threw a towel over the open containers and threatened to arrest anyone who took photos.

San Francisco's Entertainment Commission is considering a requirement that club goers have their IDs scanned and maintained for at least 15 days, and made available to the police. Also: video cameras and metal detectors! Civil liberties groups call the plan a disgrace.

A veteran law enforcement officer explains how he has observed a shift in the kinds of training he has received over the last decade, from locally funded programs to federally funded training (by DHS or TSA).

The female victim told investigators two uniformed officers raped her in her apartment, after giving her a ride home.

According to an ABC 7 news report, after the alleged rape, the officers left evidence at the scene, including a cell phone. ABC's report also indicates both officers have been arrested.
