“Gun” “Control” (in a 3D printer world) | TechCrunch

http://techcrunch.com

FTA: 'If we as a country, and indeed we as a global community, are going to seriously address the question of gun control, we need to address the issue of fabricated weapons and weapon plans, or else the discussion will be moot. This is because the proliferation of 3D printed weaponry changes both the definition of “gun” and of what it means to “control” it.'

San Francisco Makes it Illegal to Sit or Lie Down on Sidewalks

http://www.sfexaminer.com

SAN FRANCISCO — Voters approved a law intended to sweep the sidewalks clean of vagrants, and an attempt to sabotage the sit-lie ordinance failed along with a measure to politicize police officer foot patrols.
Proposition L makes it illegal to sit or lie on sidewalks citywide from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. The law is tailored to allow officers to move people loitering or blocking sidewalks and businesses. They must issue a warning before they give a citation, and for those who refuse to move along, police can make an arrest.

Music Banned on Somali Radio

http://news.bbc.co.uk
