Brighton Police Department denied our request for an interview but issued this statement:We have made internal inquiries and have determined, with confidence, no member of the Brighton Police Department has any relationship with defendant Cleveland other than (official) business. The police department made a response to every call ever received. We have examined the circumstances of the initial presentation of the facts to the DA`s office, and have determined, there was no intentional misrepresentation of the facts. ಠ_ಠ
