Luis Vega is on a mission to meet every man born in Madrid, Spain on Nov. 20, 1977. That's the day doctors told him that his baby son was stillborn, but he and his wife, Ines, believe their child was in fact stolen from the hospital.
“We have a son somewhere out there,” Luis Vega said.
The Vega family isn’t alone in believing their child was stolen. This year, more than a thousand families have come forward with claims that they were victims of baby trafficking committed by a variety of networks from the 1940s until as recently as the early 1990s.Read more »
Chinemerem Eze, a Nigerian student at Brooklyn College, complained to her college about secret surveillance in December 2008, according to a lawsuit she’s filed in New York Supreme Court. Yes, there was indeed a camera in her bedroom.
She’s suing the security officers, psychologist, and the government-managed school for negligence. She’s already settled with the government-managed hospital.

Last week, Edwin went to the Burlington Coat Factory store on West Colonial Drive with his mother. He saw a 3-year-old girl without a parent. If he had it to do all over again, if he could see the cops, the handcuffs, the TV cameras and the jail cell all awaiting him, I imagine the last thing he would have done was try to help her.
