42 year old Kenneth Tomlinson of Fredricktown is facing 16 counts of statutory sodomy involving two juvenile boys who were also videotaped by Tomlinson according to investigators. Officials say Tomlinson later viewed the videos with the victims before destroying them. Tomlinson was named head of the Fredricktown department in April 2009 after serving as a patrol officer since 1997. He was also a scout leader for the local Boy Scouts of America in Fredricktown until his arrest in January 2010. His membership with the scouting organization was revoked when charges were filed.
