Under the "Smart ID" program, ID badges have been issued with a tracking chip, which students must wear when attending school. The school badges, worn like a necklace, contain a Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip and links to their social security number. This allows the school to track the student's location after leaving campus and for as long as the badge is on the student's person.

The class had been playing with a school iPad during a lesson when the topless pictures popped up on the screen. The teacher's iPhone is believed to have accidentally synched with the tablet device — and transferred all her naughty private snaps. Four pupils playing a game on the iPad clicked on the folder and got a surprise peek. Now THEY have been suspended and threatened with expulsion from Highland Middle School in Anderson, Indiana, US.

Footage played in court this week shows former student Andre McCollins, then a disabled 18-year-old, strapped to a table and screaming savagely in pain as faculty applied 31 individual jolts of electricity over the course of seven hours. He was ultimately hospitalized. Andre is shown seated at a desk inside a classroom as a staff member asks him several times to remove his coat. He stays still, apparently not responding or removing his coat, until he is given a shock. He screams and falls to the floor, yelling as he tries to hide under his desk.

Not only did she inhale it, but so did several other students. Three went to the hospital, and seventeen others left early.
"Everybody started hollering and we had people just gagging and throwing up and everything and I'm like what's going on?" Forney said.
Superintendent Jerry Payne confirmed a school resource officer did spray and said he did it to force students inside classrooms. Payne said the students took too long to get to class, so the officer pointed the spray toward the ground, not at students.

A 9-year-old autistic boy who misbehaved at school was stuffed into a duffel bag and the drawstring pulled tight, according to his mother, who said she found him wiggling inside as a teacher's aide stood by.
The mother of fourth-grader Christopher Baker said her son called out to her when she walked up to him in the bag Dec. 14. The case has spurred an online petition calling for the firing of school employees responsible.
