Wrong on several levels, it is humiliating, and it was organized by Rosemount High School administrators. And, yes, it took place in view of the children at the school, because it was during an assembly. The students were blindfolded, and then told that “someone” was going to kiss them. The “someone” was their own parents.
What is it with public (read: GOVERNMENT) schools lately? Are they trying to screw up our kids?

Some 2,000 San Francisco students who still lacked proof of a whooping cough vaccination one month into the school year were barred from class Thursday and told not to return until they got the shot.

School is so bad that it will be shut down and restarted "from scratch". Here's an opportunity to see what government can do by trying the same thing again. Maybe they'll get it right this time?
