A federal grand jury in Bowling Green on Wednesday indicted Eaton on two counts of deprivation of rights under color of law, one count of witness tampering, one count of falsification of a document and one count of giving a false statement to federal investigators.
Barren County Sheriff Chris Eaton said Wednesday night he will continue working the job he was elected to do, just hours after he and four other county law enforcement officers were indicted on federal civil rights violations accusing them of beating a handcuffed man and attempting to conceal the incident.
