The World Bank Wants Eastern Europeans Above-Ground and Paying Taxes

The World Bank has clued in to the fact that many Eastern Europeans prefer to work in the "shadow economy" — that is, off the books and out of sight of tax men, inspectors and other assorted bureaucrats. This has the World Bank very concerned, for a variety of reasons — some convincing, and others, not so much. By the way, World Bank Employees are exempt from income taxes.

Time Magazine - great article on agorism and kids dropping out of HS

I'm astounded that this article appeared in Time (or at least on their website). They rationally propose the fact that college might not be for everyone, as well as talk about the underground economy:

"Faced with the burden of financing the decades-long retirement of aging boomers, many of the young embrace a new underground economy, a largely untaxed archipelago of communes, co-ops, and kibbutzim that passively resist the power of the granny state while building their own little utopias."
