In the paper published Monday in the Archives of Internal Medicine, researcher Lone Simonsen of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and colleagues report that though immunization rates in people over 65 have increased 50% in the past 20 years, there has not been a corresponding decline in flu-related deaths.
