War is the greatest threat to the modern family, Rep. Ron Paul told an audience filled with social conservative activists today. Speaking to a packed crowd at the Values Voters Summit in Washington D.C., the Texas congressman said that wars in the last decade cost thousands of soldiers’ lives.

Complaints without at least suggestions for solutions are a dime a dozen. The cartel of international bankers, weapons manufacturers, politicians, government "security" agencies and warmongering thieves is huge and imposing...how can individual citizens effect any kind of change or improvement? By voting?

The real, pro-US solution to the problems in the Middle East is for us to end all foreign aid, stop arming foreign countries, encourage peaceful diplomatic resolutions to conflicts, and disengage militarily. In others words, follow Jefferson’s admonition: “Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none.”

The now infamous Wikileaks recently released a cable from Afghanistan revealing U.S. government contractor DynCorp threw a party for Afghan security recruits featuring trafficked boys as the entertainment.

It has emerged that the multi-billion-dollar DCGS-A military computer system that was designed to help the US Army in Iraq and Afghanistan simply doesn’t work. DCGS-A is meant to accrue intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, and provide real-time battlefield analysis and the current location of high-value targets. According to two former intelligence officers that have worked with the system, however, it has hindered the war effort rather than helped.
