In the town of Braintree Massachusetts you must be 21 years old to sell precious metals to a dealer and the dealer must wait 30 days before selling acquired precious metals to a refinery. Do they realize how much the price can swing in 30 days? Not to mention the use of gold and silver is specifically authorized in the Constitution, which I would agree is a worthless piece of paper.
Read more »The Food and Drug Administration is preparing to ban caffeinated alcohol drinks, which it has been reviewing the drinks since last year. Sen. Chuck Schumer (NY) wrote the FDA will rule that caffeine is an unsafe additive to alcoholic beverages, effectively banning them from the U.S. market.
"Let these rulings serve as a warning to anyone who tried to peddle dangerous and toxic brews to our children. Do it and we will shut you down," wrote Schumer.

The resident said he observed an unknown person leave the package and called police, according to the police report.
The officer said he could see the package was clearly labeled with the Amazon.com logo and asked the man if he had ordered anything from the firm recently.
