Its reported that the cost for hosting the meeting is in the region of $1 billion dollars - just what the world needs in the middle of a financial crisis. How ironic that top of the agenda is, you guessed it, the financial crisis. Is there no end to this madness?

Last week, Edwin went to the Burlington Coat Factory store on West Colonial Drive with his mother. He saw a 3-year-old girl without a parent. If he had it to do all over again, if he could see the cops, the handcuffs, the TV cameras and the jail cell all awaiting him, I imagine the last thing he would have done was try to help her. But he did.....

Read more »In what has to be one of the biggest violations of common sense and burden of proof in motoring news this year, the Ohio Supreme Court has ruled that officers can “visually estimate” how fast a person is driving… and give them a ticket for it.

Take your pick: 1) He was black in a white neighborhood. 2) He was suffering from a medical issue that causes sudden unconsciousness. 3) The property being "trespassed" was his own home. and 4) Neighbors repeatedly told the cops their victim was the homeowner and to let him go and were threatened with arrest.

It has been almost three years since a young Saint Louis, Missouri motorist drew national attention by videotaping an out-of-control police officer’s profanity-laced tirade during a traffic stop (view video). St. George Police Sergeant James Kuehnlein was fired because of the bad publicity generated by the incident captured by the taping system that Brett Darrow, 23, installed in his 1997 Nissan Maxima. On Saturday, St. Louis County Police stopped Darrow once again.
