Scott Olsen, U.S. Vet Who Nearly Lost Life at Occupy Protest, Brings Antiwar Message to NATO Summit - We’re joined at the NATO summit in Chicago by Scott Olsen, who survived two tours in Iraq but almost died when he was hit with a police projectile at an Occupy Oakland protest last year. Olsen returned four of his medals at Sunday’s antiwar march.

Chinemerem Eze, a Nigerian student at Brooklyn College, complained to her college about secret surveillance in December 2008, according to a lawsuit she’s filed in New York Supreme Court. Yes, there was indeed a camera in her bedroom.

She’s suing the security officers, psychologist, and the government-managed school for negligence. She’s already settled with the government-managed hospital.

Nice racket the State has going here, though. Hope her lawsuit goes well.

Of all the sneaky tactics practiced in Washington D.C., this recent action by Congressman Henry Waxman (D-CA) is one of the most insidious: While no one was looking, he injected amendment language into the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act of 2009 (H.R. 4173) that would expand the powers of the FTC (not the FDA, but the FTC) to terrorize nutritional supplement companies by greatly expanding the power of the FTC to make its own laws that target dietary supplement companies.

Just last week the NY Times was reporting that, yes, there will be rationing of health-care, thanks to the Federal Government. In fact, the NY Times says that this is a good thing. (Huh?!) So let the medical rationing begin!

Mon evening it is being reported that 60 hospitals have been cancelled due to the Federal State taking greater control over the health market.

Obama says over and over how he will be public about health care reform and air all discussions about it on C-Span during his election run. My my how we forget so quickly the lies, all the lies...
