A homeless woman in Connecticut has been arrested for one of the most unthinkable reasons imaginable -- she sent her son to school. Tonya McDowell, 33, was arrested last week and charged with first-degree larceny for stealing $15,686 -- the cost of the public school education for her 6-year-old son.

"This isn't about a mass execution of dogs," Nemitz said. "It's meant to put pressure on people who don't cooperate."

However, the real lunacy of this program is that judges have ruled that the citations are unenforceable, because a human being did not actually hand the citation to the offender. 45% of the citations remain unpaid, for a total of $2.6 million. So the City of course is going to renew the contract with the company that runs the red light cameras!
