Internal investigation records show Deputy Raul Alvarado, 34, told witnesses he kicked the frog multiple times, painted it with White Out and stunned it with a Taser because he was "bored" at work in August 2009.Alvarado allegedly said the frog was "taking it like a champ."

Police and school officials are investigating why a student at Middletown High School was tasered at lunchtime Friday after stealing food from the cafeteria.

Police said the student was "dry-stunned." Unlike a typical act of tasing, dry-stunning eliminates the use of projectiles. The Taser is held against the person’s skin and is intended to cause pain without incapacitating the victim.

The police in the UK are about to be issues the eXtended Range Electronic Projectile (XREP) which fires a series of barbed electrodes delivering a 20-second, 500-volt shock up to 98ft away. That's 3 times further than current models.
