In 2008 a story related to the private prison profiteer/statist link can be found in this Wikipedia article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_for_cash_scandal It relays the story about how juveniles were being railroaded so corrupt judges could rake in $2.6 million dollars in kickbacks from a private detention center operator.
