Everywhere a smoking ban has been implemented a multitude of bars and pubs are put out of business. It will cost the state millions of dollars in jobs. Tourist will simply take their business to South Carolina. The bar scene in Charlotte NC will simply relocate to Rose Hill South Carolina in no time. 6000 pubs in the UK have been put out of business due to their smoking ban. Many of these pubs had been in business for over a century. Tavern on the Green in NY couldn't survive the NY smoking ban but that isn't the story the anti-smoking lobby will ever admit. They also won't let their own American Cancer study of non-smoking wives of smokers made public. A study conducted over the course of 30 years. It showed there was no significant difference in cancer rates among people who were highly exposed to second hand smoke.
