Well, the cops were sad that they didn't get their way recently. After attempting to extort money from some of the bartenders at Shenanigan's, and failing (see http://www.freetalklive.com/content/judge_barnak_under_fire_mpd_throwing...), the cops cried and another state agency imposed "restrictions" on the bar. Well, way to punish a business for being good at what they do. My take: the reason that there are problems at the bar is because it's the only decent place to go in this town. I know people who are involved in operating this bar, and employees are going to lose their jobs because of these new "restrictions". Thanks MPD, thanks OLCC.
