The Federal Reserve Act was passed and signed into law by Woodrow Wilson during the Congressional Christmas Break in 1913 giving several multi-national banks a 99 year charter to establish the Federal Reserve Bank. That charter expires on 12/21/2012, coincidentally (if you believe in such things) the same day Mayan calendar ends, the same day many mystics, eschatology enthusiasts and psychedelic fade rangers are calling The Singularity.
