I heard some discussion on environmental issues with regard to property rights on the 17 Feb podcast. I would suggest looking into work done by the Property and Environemnt Research Center (www.perc.org). I would also suggest the book Free Market Environmentalism, by Terry Anderson and Donald Leal, which describes how markets and recognition of property rights protects the environment more efficiently than does government regulation. Please suggest this organization and book to your listeners - they outline very important subjects that many libertarians or would-be libertarians have a hard time getting their arms around.
