A woman is suing the city of Tavares for violating her civil rights after she said she was arrested for her clothing.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, Janet Lovett said she went to Splash Park with her son in April and was taken from the park in handcuffs because her T-shirt got wet.
Police said parents complained that Lovett's wet shirt and bra were offensive. They said Lovett was arrested because she refused to give an officer her name.
Park employees said it was her third offense.

I agree with plite that the water park has the right to request her to change or leave, and that is what she did. She covered herself with a towel, and left to get a bathing suit. The waterpark has every right to remove her from the area. Now, I don't know if the customers or the waterpark itself called the police; based on the info we see, I bet a customer called the police, because more likely than not, the waterpark would have handled it with their private security. Theres not enough information to decern this event properly.
