FDA acts against 5 electronic cigarette distributors

http://www.fda.gov

The FDA uses it's powers to ban "electronic" cigarets. Welcome to the new powers of the government.

Aren't these really a toy instead of a food, drug or cosmetic? Yes, yes, yes. I know how they work and that these can be used as a drug delivery system. So does your automobile. I believe that the FDA needs to narrow it's focus and do a better job there instead of expanding what it does. Consumer Reports or similar private testing agency would be a better forum for public safety with respect these devices.

Better stock up

libertylover 3 years 32 weeks 2 days 18 hours ago

All I can say is people who enjoy these products had better stock up before the FDA makes them illegal. Funny how Europe or none of the rest of the civilized world is coming down on E-smoking. The boggy man glycol they keep yammering on about is food grade watch out next they will be outlawing dipping dotts cause they are full of food grade glycol. The food grade glycol was substituted in antifreeze years ago to keep kids and dogs for dying. Government sucking more and more day by day.
