Do you think that it's jaded and sophomoric to see politics as merely a way to reward friends and punish enemies? Then this one's for you. In the interests of "transparency", the Obama Administration has drafted a policy of requiring potential contractors to disclose their political contributions as a condition for applying for federal work. More likely, this just means that, among all of the companies that helped elect those in power, they'll have at-the-ready a company that contributed to the opposition party--in effect claiming "Some of our best contractors are Republicans!"
