Glenn Beck a Libertarian?

a) He's a Libertarian
b) That he's changed significantly over the past 6 years.
c) Is much more a Ron Paul libertarian than Sarah Palin.
d) Would like to see all troops removed from overseas.
e) Would like to see an attempt at private national defense.

Watch the show (well, maybe not)

If you watch a whole episode of his show (it's difficult to sit through, but it can be done) you do not get the impression that he is a libertarian. You mainly get the impression that he's not all there and a bit confused. I think he's trying to be a mainstream version of Alex Jones, but since he doesn't really believe the BS that he puts forth, his show comes across as loony and stupid.

Finally, someone who appreciates Glenn Beck. Glenn has evolved in his views and come around on a lot of them, and has on people like Judge Napolitano and Penn Jillette, along with folks from Cato, the Ayn Rand Institute and Campaign for Liberty. He had John Stossell are getting out important pro-liberty messages, even if they're not as radical or "principled" as some would like. Would Ian and Mark have come to the positions they have now if libertarians had just yelled at them and condemned them in stronger terms than socialists?

He loses me at the end when he starts talking about how patriotic he is and how much he loves his country; blah, blah, blah. But he says some good things, and I'm always happy to see libertarian ideas getting broad attention.
