This seems like an issue that kind of flies 'under the radar' for many libertarians and anti-statists, but it seems like we could make a lot of headway with the marriage debate by promoting the solution of simply getting government out of marriage altogether:

Government doesn't know what they are doing

I agree 100% We do not want government in control of marriage. We need to start treating each other as humans. Government free marriage is the pathway to equality. Government should have no control over religion or marriage. Leave marriage to the religions or to the people to freely contract with one another. Why are we asking for more control? I don't get why gay marriage is even an issue.

I do not agree with gay marriage. This not ethical for me. Marriage is a sacred ceremony for opposite sex only.
