Here’s another reason gun control won’t work: people will eventually be able to download them. Say what! Yes, people will be able download CAD files of firearms and then 3D print them. Unless you want to regulate 3D printers or the transfer of CAD files, it’s going to happen.

Only the lower receiver was printed with the printer. I'm all for the greater availability of guns but this is misleading. The printer did not print the chamber nor did it print the barrel which are absolutely essential to the functioning of a firearm.

As I understand it the lower receiver is the part with the serial number that has to be registered. Uppers, stocks, barrels etc are all available aftermarket. It is the lower that gets put into the Gubmint Db so printing your own essentially creates a gun that doesn't exist as far as the Gubmint goes.
