NICEVILLE — A man says he broke a trespass order because he was not aware of it, according to an arrest report from the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office.

A deputy was called to a Niceville home on July 18 at around 8 a.m. The homeowners said the 53-year-old man had been yelling obscenities throughout the morning.

On Jan. 2, he was warned by the Niceville Police Department to stay off the property. After being read his rights, the man told the deputy he did not know about the Jan. 2 trespass warning because he had never signed a document “agreeing to that.”
