I think this story showed how people can forgive people for crimes done against them. Clearly the kids didn't intend to do the damage they did to this lady's face. What irritates me is that this lady had to beg the judge to give them a short sentence. Why couldn't the victim pick that she doesn't want the kids to go to jail? Why does the state supersede the victim's choice of the people that violated her property rights? I thought this was a very good example of how people are not all hate filled with revenge and so forth. The comments under the story some of them were disturbing.
