I was outside my residence late at night having a cigarette when a police officer decided to harass me for my I.D. He drove around the corner and saw me putting my cigarette out and throwing it in the dumpster. He got out of his squad car and asked me what I was doing. I said hi and told him my first name, then I explained that I live here in the apartment complex and that I usually stay up late and was just out having a smoke. He asked if I had ID and I told him I didn't have any on me because I don't take my wallet out with me when I'm home just to go have a smoke. I asked him if I had committed a crime or broken any laws and he said no.
