Liberationism

I'd like to make a suggestion to those who are uncomfortable being lumped in with "libertarian" public figures and confused D-baggers. I've started referring to myself as a liberationist, which I feel draws a distinction between the typical big-gov, warmongering, border-building neocons who claim to want freedom, but are really hellbent on control, and the peaceniks/potsmokers/sovereigns who'd rather see a society based around consent rather than slavery. I am an advocate for the liberation of humanity from "authority", from manmade fear, from war and from the blatant theft inherent in coercive government.

I'll also note that one

[I'm new to posting on this site-- I guess the word count for show prep is pretty low, so here's the rest of what I had to say] I'll also note that one cannot have liberty without first liberating oneself; I liken the term liberationist to "abolitionist", which I believe is very much in the spirit of what you brave porcupines are doing over there in the free state. I hope someday to abandon the Peoples' Republic of California and head east, but until then, good luck! I'm with you in spirit.
