What isn't shown here is what led up to this shooting, some say the man skipped out on his $2 bus fare and was shot in the back while fleeing, other reports have said there was some sort of gun fight and this man was the loser. What is disgusting is the how he is left to bleed out and die while cops form a perimeter around him, guns drawn, not letting anyone through. Could a life have been saved if one of the officers had at least applied some pressure to his bleeding and perhaps calmed him down? Maybe, maybe not, But there seems to be a serious policy gap in how shootings are handled by the SFPD.
