Native American tribes decide it's faster to buy their land back than to get their treaties honored by the US government. States and counties opposed because they'll lose tax revenue and the land won't be subject to local law.

The article says that one of the oposing villages dislikes the tribe buying the land because they still must provide water and sewer, but are no longer getting any revenue from the land. Do they have to provide sewer and water to the tribe too? If so, I guess I can see how that's not entirely fair. If not, then they should quit their whining.
