New High of 46% of Americans Support Legalizing Marijuana

While California's marijuana ballot initiative is garnering a lot of attention this election cycle, Gallup finds that nationally, a new high of 46% of Americans are in favor of legalizing use of the drug, and a new low of 50% are opposed. The increase in support this year from 44% in 2009 is not statistically significant, but is a continuation of the upward trend seen since 2000.

I totally agree! 45% was Amazing! Only 10% won it this time. Lets hope next time around we can legalize!! I was hoping California would be the 1st in the WORLD to Legalize marijuana. There are lots of Country's that have some sort of medical marijuana and 16 or more states in the U.S. that do have medical marijuana And the only thing I would add this isn't just happening in the U.S. - Around the world people are coming around to accepting marijuana as another way to relax, like with a drink or 10000 other ways people use to relax
