Pharmacist stops armed attackers with his gun, pharmacy fires him

This guys stops an armed robbery, likely saves his life and his co-worker's, but gets fired for breaking Walgreen's policy that says employees can not do anything to escalate a robbery situation. Sounds to me like he deescalated it pretty well.
