I certainly don't enjoy being recorded, but I understand that my employer has every right to monitor me in the course of my work day to make sure I'm meeting my company's expectations. I apply the same standard to public employees. Because I'm forced to fund their operations, I have every right to monitor them.

I think this is a tricky and controversial subject. I wouldn't want to be taped or recorded. However, in the case of police officers there may be times when it is necessary, but where do you draw the line?
