R Buckminster Fuller promotes a society of abundance and the obseletion of politics. However it seems at times that he borders on promoting everyone to be forced into his design of society? What do you think? Perhaps he is not thinking clearly.

Robert Anton Wilson spoke highly of him for a reason; he was an optimistic, out-the-box thinker. Bucky made numerous contributions to fields ranging from design and art, to science and engineering. He deserves to be held in high regard for his dedication to finding creative solutions to tough problems. That a better world has to be built; it cannot be wished into existence by divine decree.

It's very likely that Fuller fell into the same trap that Woodrow Wilson and many other academics do: They believe government can be run "correctly". They don't understand that government fails because it is GOVERNMENT, that centralized planning always fails. I'll bet that Fuller never read von Mises's "Socialism", since Mises did not write "mathematical" economics.
