Probably one of the most laughable attacks on Ron Paul in recent memory is by a (failed) fund manager, a Bizarro-World Ron Paul: Ron Insana (yes, that's his real name) who says that Ron Paul doesn't "even have a basic understanding of fundamental economics, let alone more complex issues and better ways to hedge against inflation than buying gold." Really? Give me bloody break. Their track records speak for themselves. Look at his firm today (failed), and look at Gold since his firm started (more than doubled.)
