How much is grad school? Too much my brothers and sisters, too much- I think even the die-hard grad school nerds and I are on the same page with this one. Often the cost of the tuition is more than the salary increase a grad student could possibly get from their new degree, even over time.
The majority of my grad school friends who got a grad degree to be “more competitive” in the job market ended up with the same jobs and the same salary they would’ve gotten without a graduate degree, and now they’re in debt. In my opinion that is thousands of dollars spent on a degree they didn’t need, when they could have been making money. Perseverance is cheaper than grad school.
