Sovereign Citizen Extremists

FBI targets "sovereign citizen extremist" in my town in Florida this summer. The FBI gives its criteria for what they consider to be a "sovereign citizen extremist". Very disturbing. While the story cites alleged violence by the man arrested, I did not hear him make any threat on the video link. There is an interesting addition to the story about a man and his teenage son traveling back to Clearwater. This incident with man and son ends in violence. It is interesting to see how they link the two stories together.

This family did violate the property rights of their neighbors. (Read the criminal complaint PDF) You cannot create your own shooting range and go beyond the bounds of your property, there is risk to the life of neighbors or anyone passing outside your property line. I'm fine with people calling themselves "sovereign citizens", but they do have to follow laws and pay taxes, they cannot pick and choose which laws to follow and then threaten law enforcement and not expect force to be used against them.
