Unfortunately, it's no joke. This happened to Bob Thomas, a 53-year-old officer in Camden's emergency crime suppression team, who was flying to Orlando in March with his wife, Leona, and their 4yr old son, Ryan.

A good point I noticed with a few of the stories I've read here. It's always more offensive when it's a cop, or other kind of government employee (as with the whole Arpaio ordeal) instead of just the average citizen. Why is it only terrible when they get hit with what we experience daily?
...Oh, right, they shouldn't have to because they're better. Forgot.
Edit: Which is not to say this still isn't a disgusting story. Sick bastards.
