There's been some confusion on the show as to what the Venus project is. This video gives a good description of it. The Venus project is not a proposal for a political system of government, but a socioeconomic system. The Venus project, similar to the Free State project, is completely voluntary and its primary object, beyond developing its ideas, is spreading its message to persuade people to join it.

The Venus project does not advocate a government or a general system for controlling people like Communism or Socialism or Democracy. Instead, and like Voluntarism, it does not put forth such a system.
