Doctor Is Busted For Walking?!!?

http://articles.courant.com

On March 31 he was headed home, on foot as usual, on the far left of South Road. A car came in his direction, which he judged was going too fast and not as far into the middle of the road as he would have liked. As the car approached, Dr. Walsh waved his arms "as I usually do just to make sure the driver can detect motion and see me more clearly." He said the driver saw him but still came within 18 inches of him.

Census supervisor: We may be back with a police officer next time

http://www.youtube.com

It was a beautiful Sunday evening around 7:30PM. I had just finished cooking a dinner of chicken wings & a dessert funnel cake for my wife and kids. I was in the kitchen cleaning up when the doorbell rang. My wife & kids were sitting close to the door, watching an episode of Life on the Discovery Channel. My wife answered the door, which was open to allow the cool breeze to come in. There stood a pair of census enumerators. I immediately walked out of the kitchen, and my wife informed them they would need to speak to me.

Meet the nano-spiders

http://www.dailymail.co.uk

Scientists have created microscopic robots out of DNA molecules that can walk, turn and even create tiny products of their own on a nano-scale assembly line.

The ground-breaking devices outlined in the journal Nature, could one day lead to armies of surgeon robots that could clean human arteries or build computer components.

In one of the projects a team from New York's Columbia University created a spider bot just four nanometres across. This is about 100,000 times smaller than the diameter of a human hair.
