Sex offenders find safe haven in a Florida town. Evidently Pastor Witherow's 'Miracle Village' is an intentional village on the outskirts of Pahokee, FL. Could this be an example of how through ostracization of people who violate a communities norms, that a non-coercive alternative to the prison complex success story? Apparently it's only the huge smiles they're worried about, otherwise known as an "I just won the lottery" smile, according to the Jersey Department of Motor Vehicles.

It distorts your face so much so that their facial ID software has difficulty recognizing you for you.

New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch (D) on Thursday vetoed a bill that would have required voters to present a government-issued photo identification before casting a ballot.

“The right to vote is a fundamental right that is guaranteed to all citizens of this State under the United States and New Hampshire Constitutions,” he said. “Our election laws must be designed to encourage and facilitate voting by all eligible voters in New Hampshire.”

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. - The City of Schenectady and the Schenectady County Sheriff's department have announced they will issue SAFE CHILD photo ID's beginning Tuesday, July 5th at city pools in order to promote safety this summer.
SAFE CHILD cards will include the child's photograph, fingerprint images of both index fingers, as well as the child's name and biological information. Driver's licenses, a school issued ID, or a Department of Social Services Benefit Card will also be accepted.

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- West Virginia University researchers are working with the FBI to build up a database including fingerprints, eye and facial images.

For the second year in a row, WVU researchers in computer sciences are working with the FBI to gather information about biometrics, including facial shapes, fingerprints, and even audio and video samples.
