Australian soldiers home-bound, charged with drinking, returned to war

So for the terrible crime of drinking, a group of Australian soldiers (nicknamed diggers) are sent back to Afghanistan. In true Obama latest national defense bill style, the men 'misbehaved' in one country, and are then called to another country to defend themselves.

Soldier at Ron Paul rally could face trouble

"An Army reservist who took the stage at a political event for Ron Paul and expressed his support for the Republican presidential candidate could face legal troubles, the military said Thursday."

I'm not sure how to find the videos and pictures now, but I recall seeing in-uniform military members on the stage with John McCain in 2007 and various military members peppering political news coverage since, endorsing various candidates other than Ron Paul.

What can we as Individuals do to Free Ourselves and our Country?

Complaints without at least suggestions for solutions are a dime a dozen. The cartel of international bankers, weapons manufacturers, politicians, government "security" agencies and warmongering thieves is huge and imposing...how can individual citizens effect any kind of change or improvement? By voting?

Ron Paul Says "Let's Get Out of Middle East...And United Nations."

The real, pro-US solution to the problems in the Middle East is for us to end all foreign aid, stop arming foreign countries, encourage peaceful diplomatic resolutions to conflicts, and disengage militarily. In others words, follow Jefferson’s admonition: “Peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none.”

The Phantom Menace: Al Qaeda was never an "existential" threat.

Last week, RAND Corp. published a study looking at homegrown jihadi terrorism. Of the 32 "plots" uncovered in the U.S. since 9/11, "only 10 developed anything resembling an operational plan that identified a specific target, developed the means of attack, and offered a sequence of steps to carry [it] out." "Of these, six were Federal Bureau of Investigation stings" involving fake bombs—"on their own, only two individuals actually attempted to build devices. One was arrested while doing so, and the other's device failed."

US Army spent $2.7 billion on a computer that doesn’t work

It has emerged that the multi-billion-dollar DCGS-A military computer system that was designed to help the US Army in Iraq and Afghanistan simply doesn’t work. DCGS-A is meant to accrue intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, and provide real-time battlefield analysis and the current location of high-value targets. According to two former intelligence officers that have worked with the system, however, it has hindered the war effort rather than helped.

LANSING — On Nov. 30, the Drug Enforcement Agency raided a facility in Meridian Township. Along with ground forces, the Michigan National Guard provided two Blackhawk helicopters to assist in the operation. The facility was a joint growing operation by several registered patient caregivers. The caregivers decided to rent the facility to grow medical marijuana for their patients, and remove the drug from their homes.
